So that we may be able to provide quality care to our patients, we have digital radiography that includes radiograph interpretations at our fingertips. In addition, we offer all of the patients coming in for dental prophylaxis digital dental radiographs. The facility includes large exam rooms, reception, treatment room, surgery room, dental suite, pharmacy, and an office for the manager and doctors. We currently have a full-time doctor(s), front desk staff who provide excellent customer service, RVT(s), a full technician staff, and a hospital manager who oversees the hospital. Our staffing ratio is 3 to one doctor.
Our location is open 6 days/week. Your schedule would include 4 days/week (Mon-Fri) with rotating Saturdays, although if you would like an alternative schedule, it is negotiable.
Our hospitals are anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours from Sacramento, California, and 2 to 3 hrs from Reno, Nevada. If you’re adventurous and love snowboarding and skiing, we’re less than 3 hours away from South Lake Tahoe.

Job Description
Green Valley Animal Hospital is in the beautiful El Dorado County, located in the Greater Sacramento region of Northern California. Eldorado Hills is a former gold mining and panning town, now growing, and straddling the suburban/rural interface. It’s a great place to raise a family in an area with plenty of outdoor recreational activities. We are also conveniently located less than 2 hours from Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, & the SF Bay Area.
We are seeking a full- or part-time associate to join our 1-DVM, small animal general practice. We have served our loyal clientele for over 40 years and take pride in our many long-lasting relationships within our community. We provide a wide range of services including soft tissue surgery, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, and in-house labs. We are located an hour away from the many referral facilities in the Sacramento area and we work with nearby specialists when needed. Whether you’re an experienced doctor or a new graduate, Green Valley is the perfect place to hone your craft as a well-rounded clinician. Our growing, enthusiastic team of assistants and RVT support our associates in all facets of patient care, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate is friendly, compassionate, a good communicator, and motivated to care for pets and people. We encourage you to pursue your niche in veterinary medicine. New graduates are welcome to apply. Must be a licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in the state of California.
